Buckhorn Canoe Company

A great day had by all was at the Buckhorn Canoe Company workshop and in the photos below you see Dick demonstrating how to install the canvas wrap, frames and finally one canoe Dick finished...“a work of art!”

Kawartha Prop Repair

Some attendees were saying it was as if they went from the 19th century, while at Buckhorn Canoe Company, to the 21st, while at Kawartha Prop Repair” all in the matter of a weekend. Maybe it had something to do with its state of the art equipment. Here you can see John Fuderer with the only machine of its kind in Canada that can bend prop blades back into their proper position and then, in the third photo down, check them with a laser to make sure they're perfect. Here’s John demonstrating how they straighten bent propellor shafts.
